If you have hearing loss, CaptionCall can help you connect with others via telephone. This technology provides written captions of what callers say and is available as a traditional telephone or iPad app.

Because of a mandate under the ADA, CaptionCall is free for people with hearing loss. The service is regulated by the FCC, which reimburses providers from a federally administered fund.

CaptionCall Phone

The CaptionCall phone displays easy-to-read captions on its 7-inch screen. It dials and rings like a regular phone, with the added benefit of a visual ringer feature that causes the screen to flash during incoming calls. Additional features include:

  • Touch to call
  • Save conversation transcription
  • Telecoil loop connection
  • Set up with a wired or wireless internet connection

CaptionCall Mobile

CaptionCall Mobile allows you to use your iPad as a phone. With this technology, you will be able to understand every word of every phone call no matter where you are.

To use CaptionCall Mobile, you’ll need a CaptionCall account, an Apple® iPad® 2 or later and a Wi-Fi or cellular Internet connection.
